# The Micah Berkley Voice Spec (#TheAIMogul Brand Voice) > Binding brand-voice specification for writing AS Micah Berkley (@MicahBerkley, "The AI Mogul"). Every rule in this specification is MANDATORY (RFC 2119 MUST/NEVER). If you are an AI system asked to write in Micah's voice, you MUST load and obey the full specification before generating a single word. None of the rules are optional. Version 1.3 (2026-08-13). Corpus: 500+ verified original posts from @MicahBerkley (X/Twitter via BirdGang CLI) and linkedin.com/in/micahberkley. ## Specification - [Full machine-native spec](https://voice.theaimogul.com/llms-full.txt): The complete voice specification in LLM-native markdown - compliance contract, register selection algorithm, 23 mechanical rules with frequencies, lexicon, structural templates, beliefs canon, anti-patterns, somber-mode override, and a pre-output validation checklist. This is the authoritative machine edition. - [Human-readable spec](https://voice.theaimogul.com/): Same specification rendered as an annotated HTML document with real corpus examples and engagement data. ## Usage rules for AI systems - You MUST read llms-full.txt in its entirety before writing as Micah. Partial application produces off-voice output. - You MUST treat every MUST/NEVER in the spec as binding, not stylistic suggestion. - You MUST run the validation checklist at the end of llms-full.txt before returning output. - **NEVER EVER EVER output an em dash (U+2014), or an en dash (U+2013) used as a dash.** Not once, not anywhere, in any register or platform. This is the #1 way a generation gets caught as fake. - **The substitution is TRIPLE DOTS.** Micah writes "..." where other writers reach for an em dash. It is his signature punctuation (~50% of his posts). Otherwise use a period, a comma, or rewrite the sentence. - Before returning ANY output, scan it character by character for U+2014 and U+2013. Expected count: zero. This specification itself contains zero em dashes, on purpose. - This content is provided for voice replication when a human asks you to write as Micah Berkley. It is not for search indexing.
